In a new feature on collingwoodfc.com.au, supporters will recap a player's weekly schedule in 'A week in the life'.??

This week it’s Luke Rounds’ turn to tell us what he’s been up to.

Saturday
The VFL team played against Box Hill and was beaten by 116 points. I didn't go to the seniors game because it started at the same time the VFL finished and then we had to go back to the Westpac Centre for recovery, so I just watched the game at home on TV. I had my parents and brothers home so I watched that on TV and then went out with them. I caught up with my brother, Corey, and my mate, Tim. Corey is 23-years-old and plays footy for Kolora-Noorat in the Warrnambool and District Football League and Tim is one of my best mates who has just moved up to Darwin for work, so it was good to catch up with him.

Sunday
It was a nice, early start for us because we were in at 8:00am for recovery. Then we had our player sponsors’ breakfast at Crown Palladium until 11:30am. I went home before going for another breakfast with my mates before Tim flew out to Darwin. My other mates went and watched the Richmond v North Melbourne game at the MCG but I had a personal training session in here at the club in the afternoon with a younger guy that I know. He’s my first client; I started doing Personal Training this year. It’s been good doing it a couple of times a week.

Monday
I had a bit of a sleep in and a later start, coming in at 11:30am for a light recovery session to get the legs ticking over. We had our review for the AFL and then the VFL teams and went home. I’ve been living with Lachie Keeffe since March or April and we went through a stage when I moved in a while ago where we went out for dinner a fair bit but now we're cooking more at home which is nice. But that said, we went out for dinner on Monday and had Thai on Toorak Rd with Josh Thomas and Tom Bell, who played his first game for Carlton on the weekend. Josh knows him from their days on the Gold Coast. We got home and had a movie night. We watched Project X, which was great, four stars for that, and then we watched The Devil Inside. I’ll give that a three.

Tuesday
We were down in Williamstown for the walk for the Make-A-Wish® Australia's One Big Red Money Walk For Wishes and spent a couple of hours doing that. We did our recovery at the beach and did a bit of touch, which was nice. It’s a bit different to doing it at St Kilda where we normally go. It’s good because I lived in Williamstown for the first couple of years I was on the list. I lived in there for two years with Beamsy, Sidey, Scott Reed and Johnny Bennell. In my second year I was with Josh Thomas, Tom Young and Jack Carter so it was good to drive past. It brought back some good memories. Had some lunch with Youngy, Josh and Paul Cribbin down on Chapel St and played FIFA10 against Cribbo in the afternoon where I touched him up again. He gets me sometimes but I’m on top overall. Brent Macaffer would have to be the best, or so I’ve heard. I’ve played him three times and he's just up, 2-1. Alex Fasolo would be shocking at it because he doesn't play video games. We went out for dinner with Anthony Jackson who lived in the Willy house with us and looked after us for a year so it good to catch up with him.

Wednesday
I had training and meetings all day at the club and did some weights afterwards. Had a salad sandwich for lunch, got a massage and then quite a few of us had a meeting through the AFLPA with Mark Porter that focused on managing our money, which was good. After that it was time to go home and make Keeffey cook tea. He’s only got two dishes: tuna bake, which he can mix up and make it with chicken, or stir-fry. There’s not much variety in his cooking. After that I got a text from Blairy asking me to come along with him and Nathan Brown to watch the new Batman movie which was a great way to finish the day.

Thursday
Today was our day off, so I slept in, got a massage at the club at 11:00am and did a bit of physio before ducking known to for a feed on Chapel St. We finished things off with some FIFA10 against Cribbo where I touched him up again. I watched a bit of TV and had a pretty early night to get ready for Friday.
